About
Japan is the country of the coffee, not the tea – believe it or not (even though there is a great variety of teas here and the tea drinking is also highly popular) . I created this blog as tribute of all the great coffees I encountered here and I will deeply miss once I have to leave the country.

Hey Chottomatte!
I think this blog is a WONDERFUL idea. So wonderful that, if you need or would like me to guest post occasionally I’d be happy to! I too am an avid drinker of japanese can coffees, though i don’t tend to experiement much, i have been loyal to boss and georgia for 7 years running. but occasionally when either of them are unavailable I might indulge in some of the other brands. But, for you, your blog herw, because I like the idea so much, i would branch out.
right now as i write this message i am sipping from a can ofGeorgia’s Emerald mountain blend and it’s pretty damn good for a first thing in the morning kick in the arse (-:
Congratulations on your new blog and I hope you have TONS of success!
Loco
WOW. Thanks a lot loco!
It will be a real honor for me to have your guest posts on my new blog.
My favorite one were also boss and georgia but recently I discovered Wonda and now I am a big fen of it also.
Cheers and enjoy your Georgia Emerald (I do not have it yet in my blog)
This is an incredible idea – I can’t believe no one thought of it before!
I was also a Boss and Georgia guy before I left. You should do a poll, cos it looks like the Boss-Georgia duo have a lot of fans.
Best of luck with the blog!
Thank you Maxamillian ,
The idea for the poll is really great. For sure I will make a separate page for it. I am even considering to unable the users to make their own rating for each one of the coffees. I ma working on it now.
Cheers
Thank you so much for making this site! I found it when looking for a picture of the zeromax can. I go poor whenever I’m in Japan, because I can’t resist dropping ¥120 every time I pass a machine!
Thank you Slonie,
Actually nowadays there are many vending machines (especially in the residential areas) where the coffee cans are only 100 or even 80 yen
