Deep in Nagata (Kobe, Kansai)

What comes after Deep in Nada-ku 1 and 2? Of course – Deep In Nagata (may be I should add – “with iPhone” but this is really a technical detail).

Well nowadays everybody goes to Nagata to see the Tetsujin (Gigantor) statue and we did so but the most interesting part was after that – the shopping galleries and more precisely the mesh of utralocal places surrounding them. But lets go one step in a time.

First (starting from the Tatsujin) are the modern galleries and shopping centers. Nothing particularly interesting there apart from a 100 yen Lawson (I didn’t know such exists) and an even cheaper shop just after it. There were though a few picturesque shops worthful  my iPhone memory so you can see them here:

At the end of the main gallery turn left and you will enter a second relatively big gallery:

If you really want to reach the ultra-local places continue alongside the gallery and watch for entry points (small galleries/passages) to the left. Sooner or later you will spot some. Then just be brave, grab tighter your camera (if you have one) and venture deep into Nagata local secrets. Here is just a small selection of what you gonna see:

And of course what gonna be a Japanese hood without a cyborgs workshop. So here is the Nagata’s one. (Well I am not absolutely sure these are cyborgs but you must agree with me that they look pretty much like real one :))

This is all for now folks.

Just one more photo for “Sayonara Nagata”:
