Himeji Castle Samurai Gardens
Yesterday we visited Himeji Castle Samurai Gardens. The gardens are not so famous as the castle itself but they are really nice and definitely worth seeing if you can find at least an hour free somewhere within your busy Himeji castle visiting program. We made many photos but particularly interesting was a small river in one of the gardens – the water in the river looked like it is full with countless wiggling small creatures but it was just an illusion of course. In the middle of the river was small island with a very gentle maple tree (actually all the island looked kind of gentle).
